Skin Checks
According to the Cancer Council, more than 3,600 people are diagnosed with melanoma in Queensland each year. We are incredibly fortunate to live in beautiful, sunny Queensland however, it is important to remember to spread awareness of the negative effects of over exposure to UV radiation.
Our doctors at OCFD are experienced in providing skin checks with follow-up treatment once skin cancers have been detected. Our treatments include:
- Early detection with non-surgical treatment for pre-cancerous lesions
- Cryotherapy
- Skin biopsies
- Excision of lesions
