Our practice operates on an appointment system but urgent / emergency cases will always be seen. 

The standard appointment time is 15 minutes, with a long appointment time of 30 minutes.

When booking your appointment we ask you to consider what items or issues need to be discussed with your doctor. To assist us in minimising waiting times for fellow patients, please ensure you book an appointment of an adequate length. We recommend that you please make a long appointment if you have more than one issue to discuss with your doctor.

Please book an individual appointment for each family member that needs to be seen. This will help the doctor keep to time and give each individual the time they deserve rather than being rushed.

Rescheduling / Cancelling Appointments

Should you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please call the practice during our office hours.

Where possible, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours before, so that your appointment time can be allocated to another patient who is seeking medical care. We do however, understand that sometimes this may not be possible and therefore, please call us at your earliest convenience.

A cancellation fee may apply if bookings are cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time.

 One Care Family Doctors does not keep a cancellation list for any of our doctors. 


It is very important that you book an appointment with your doctor to discuss results of investigations you may have been asked to undertake. Results will not be given over the phone.

For Cervical Screening results we will send you a letter to notify you of your results.  Please be aware that if you develop any symptoms or notice any changes in between your routine Cervical Screenings it is extremely important that you see your doctor for assessment.
